Description
Thermal Energy - Working Demonstration Kit (J) for Educational Labs
An experimental kit that enables students to generate electrical energy using only hot and cold water. The production of this clean energy is made possible by the Peltier thermoelectric module (water-based) included in the kit, which generates energy by exploiting the temperature difference between hot and cold water that fills the reservoirs. The amount of energy generated can be observed on the turbine and buzzer that are part of the kit, as well as on the two thermometers. An additional element of the kit is a photovoltaic module, whose operation can be tested by an LED turning on, as well as by the turbine and buzzer.
Set contents (3 modules):
- Thermoelectric module containing two glass reservoirs for hot and cold water (in a stand) with a Peltier module (thermoelectric element)
- Lid for the water reservoirs with openings for thermometers
- Two laboratory glass thermometers
- Control module with built in motor and fan, buzzer and LED and connection sockets (all integrated in a plastic housing)
- Photovoltaic module with connection sockets (in a plastic housing)
- Connecting wires
