Educational 88-piece puzzle featuring colorful, realistic photos of waste and a simplified timeline that shows, in photos, after how long natural decomposition occurs for waste that has not been sorted and not recycled. We hope this thought-provoking presentation will make everyone think and motivate proper waste sorting, with information that bottles decompose after 4,000 years (yes, after four thousand years glass may decompose!), and plastics take hundreds of years.

Additionally, on the underside of the mat are colorful photos of a rubber tire, a plastic bottle, and a glass bottle with descriptions of how long they take to decompose when left unsorted and unrecycled, and how they can be processed when sorted and recycled, and how many times.

The puzzle can be assembled on a rigid cardboard mat (easier version) with a color 1:1 print of the puzzle image, or on the bottom of the closed box whose dimensions match the puzzle (33 x 23 cm). We recommend it for play and for learning about waste!
