Educational microscope with magnifications from 40x to 400x is equipped with a wide-field WF 10x eyepiece and 4x, 10x and 40x screw-in objectives in a rotary (revolver) head. A built-in rotating turret with 6 different apertures regulates the amount of light passing through the condenser. Fine focus is adjusted with a symmetrical knob. In addition to the standard bottom illumination, built-in top illumination enables observation of specimen surfaces at lower magnifications, such as leaves or insects. The microscope is powered by three AA batteries – this provides full mobility and independence from a mains outlet, and modern LED lighting (low power consumption) ensures long operation without battery replacement.
