Description

Wall Chart: Parasitic and Pathogenic Mites, 90x130 cm

Large, clearly readable educational wall chart depicting parasitic and pathogenic mites along with their life cycles. The chart presents the development of the tick, the human itch mite, the human follicle mite, and skin mites. For ticks, it also shows the correct method of removing a tick from the skin.

Mites belong to the class Arachnida and among them there are species that transmit serious diseases or cause allergies in humans (e.g., mites). They are generally small, and some can be seen only under a microscope (especially those living on human skin or in household dust). The most dangerous are still considered ticks, which can transmit more than 20 diseases.

The board is mounted on wooden rods and laminated. Large board dimensions: 90x130 cm.
