Description

Pathogenic protists wall chart 90x130 cm

Large, clear educational wall chart illustrating pathogenic protists along with their life cycles. The chart presents the development (life cycle) of the protozoan Toxoplasma gondii, which causes toxoplasmosis, the malaria parasite, and the trypanosome transmitted by the tsetse fly that causes African sleeping sickness. It also depicts, with discussion, such pathogenic protists as amoebae, Trichomonas vaginalis, intestinal threadworm, Leishmania, and the amoeba that causes dysentery.

Animal protists are invisible to the naked eye; they are often single-celled organisms that can transmit diseases dangerous to humans, as well as bacteria and viruses.

The board is mounted on wooden rods and laminated. Large dimensions of the board: 90x130 cm.

Board no. 5 from the SERIES OF 10 CHARTS "WHAT ATTACKS US? From viruses and bacteria to insects"

This is an interesting series of large educational wall charts depicting viruses, bacteria, protists, fungi, mites and ticks, flatworms, obleńce and insects, which are potential threats to the human body. The 10 charts present in a vivid, graphically engaging way the places of attack and habitats of these dangerous pathogens, their images and life cycles. RECOMMENDED!
