How to use the mat

The mat invites not only for looking but primarily for active participation! With it, children can understand the circulatory system through movement and play. Simply divide the students into roles and embark on a journey through the human body!

The student representing blood receives oxygen from a student playing the role of the lungs (you can use colorful balls or paper-cut symbols). Then they move according to the direction of blood flow across the mat, delivering oxygen to other participants who play the organs. In exchange they receive carbon dioxide, which returns to the lungs to start the cycle again. This is a great way to grasp challenging concepts such as the structure of the circulatory system, gas exchange, blood circulation, the small and large circulatory loops, the role of the heart and lungs, and, at the same time, lots of laughter and movement!

Product details and care

The mat measures 130 x 250 cm and is coated with a special protective laminate, making it durable and wipe-clean with a damp cloth. It is resistant to intensive use and suitable for both the classroom and the gym or after-school room. It can be rolled up and conveniently stored between lessons.
