Robotics Lab (AI) and 3D Printing in the Classroom is an ideal set for the Laboratory of the Future, containing the essential accessories for building and programming robots in multiple languages. The package includes two MakerBot Sketch 3D printers with the necessary educational kit, documentation and teacher support, ready-to-print designs for six Shell-e robots, a set of additional servos and components, and as many as two remarkable JD Humanoid robots, whose construction is modeled after real humanoid robots!

  1. Gaining essential knowledge about robot construction, the functions of individual mechanisms and servos, their proper connections, and selecting appropriate tools for working with electronics.
  2. The next step is to build a robot based on a ready-to-print design on the MakerBot Sketch 3D printers, which can then be modified using 3D pens with PLA filament.
  3. Learning programming in one of the selected languages: block-based and Scratch, as well as Python and JavaScript.

Print Shell-e robot on your 3D printer

After mastering the basics of robotics, students can expand the Shell-e robot using additional servos and other components, and also build their first humanoid robot. The JD Robot is an advanced project inspired by real humanoid robots, offering rich programming possibilities. Users can also independently produce spare parts using a 3D printer or adapt them to the needs of their own robot projects.

STEAM Robotics Lab

Together with the robots in the set are two MakerBot Sketch 3D printers, which provide safe operation even for younger students thanks to a closed working chamber. The device is quiet and features particulate filters, making it suitable for installation in a classroom. Access to MakerBot Cloud™, a library of ready-made models, scenarios, and the authors' manual “3D Printing in the Classroom,” as well as online starter training for teachers provides comprehensive support at the start of learning. PLA 3D pens included in the set, powered by power banks, allow modification and additional decoration of printed models.
