Wimshurst machine (electrostatic machine) - educational electrostatics demonstration equipment

A classic electrostatic machine enabling generation of electrical voltage and charges of opposite signs (positive and negative), which are collected separately in Leyden jars (two characteristic vessels).

The machine enables safe execution of electrostatics experiments. It features a hand-cranked belt drive, adjustable spark length, and two high-voltage glass capacitors (Leyden jars), partially transparent, and braided collecting electrodes.

A sturdy plastic base on non-slip rubber feet provides stability during demonstrations. The construction has been reinforced with metal axle elements supporting a disk of approximately 30 cm in diameter.
