Puzzle Viruses and Bacteria – 88-piece Educational Puzzle with Underlay and Lockable Box

An educational 88-piece puzzle depicting pathogenic viruses and bacteria. The puzzle can be assembled on a rigid cardboard underlay (easier version) with a full-color 1:1 print of the puzzle image, or on the bottom of a sealed box whose dimensions match the puzzle (33 x 23 cm).

To ensure the puzzle is not only fun but also educational, information (the educational section) about the viruses and bacteria shown on the puzzle and about the structure of viruses (enveloped and non-enveloped) and bacteria (Gram-positive and Gram-negative), and also bacteriophage, is printed on the underside of the underlay. The viruses and bacteria depicted on the puzzle are:
VIRUSES - lentivirus (HIV), coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), orthomyxovirus (influenza), filovirus (Ebola), herpesvirus (herpes), adenovirus (nasal cold), picornavirus (polio), rhabdovirus (rabies);
BACTERIA - tubercle bacillus, pneumococcus, pertussis bacillus, typhoid bacillus (Salmonella Typhi), Treponema pallidum, Vibrio cholerae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Clostridium tetani, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Corynebacterium diphtheriae (diphtheria), Borrelia burgdorferi.
