A fascinating model, of a human upper molar, crafted from colored plastic, mounted on a stand (detachable from the base). The tooth is enlarged to about eight times its natural size and consists of 6 parts. The tooth itself splits into 4 parts – two halves (in a longitudinal section) and an additionally removable pulp with canals from one half, as well as a fragment of the crown and dentin showing the initial stage of caries. The two additional parts of this teaching aid are two more fragments of crown and dentin with the initial stage of caries, but in two subsequent, more advanced stages, to compare changes step by step.
Perfect for biology lessons and health education, the model supports teaching about tooth structure and function and helps explain how oral hygiene and dietary habits influence tooth decay.
