Product Description

The 250 mL Kipp apparatus, made of borosilicate glass, is designed for generating controlled amounts of gases such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S) or carbon dioxide (CO2).

The apparatus comprises two vessels, a hydraulic valve, a stopcock, and a laboratory stopper. The upper vessel is funnel-shaped and connected via a ground joint to the hydraulic stopcock. The lower vessel is hourglass-shaped with a constriction and two openings — one for mounting the stopcock (via a ground joint), the other closed with a laboratory stopper and intended for cleaning the apparatus. The entire assembly is made of borosilicate glass (except for the stopper).
