A large, clear educational wall chart that presents the structure of lichens (lichen fungi) and the lichen scale. The chart shows seven zones of air pollution, defined by the lichen species inhabiting these zones, with illustrations of the corresponding lichens in each zone. Lichens are good bioindicators of air pollution (indicator species), so by understanding the lichen zones you can preliminarily determine the air quality status of a given area.

The chart is laminated and framed with rods, with a hanging cord. Dimensions: 130 x 91 cm.
