Waste Segregation Interactive Demonstration Set – Magnetic Version PLUS

Set 106 colorful elements in 100 percent magnetic form, because printed on full magnetic foil (and not affixed to fragments of foil) for display on any magnetic surface (metal, classroom board, …) to illustrate the rules of proper municipal waste segregation in the given area.

The rules of proper segregation are not limited in this extended version only to the practice of correct waste disposal, but also to learning and reinforcing proper behaviours – hence the set includes 7 pictorial rules of proper waste handling. A new feature is the timeline of waste decomposition over time with time sequences (weeks, months, decades, hundreds of years, thousands of years) showing visually how fast, or rather how slowly, decomposition can occur for waste discarded into the environment without segregation, to warn and educate and encourage sorting!

A useful addition is also 21 different information symbols appearing on packaging and products (e.g. \"alu\", \"compostable\", \"PET\", recyclable, ...).

The set is color-coordinated to the currently applicable general waste collection rules, but can also be adapted to local, detailed waste collection rules thanks to movable bin labels, PSZOKs and added collection points. The colors of the large bins are: yellow, blue, green, white and brown; the BIO bag color is brown. The images of the waste are realistic.

The elements of the set can be freely arranged on a magnetic classroom board. It is also possible to add and draw additional information and elements (texts, arrows, etc.) next to magnetic elements. The whole is clearly visible; the elements are large and distinct. Height of the largest elements (bins and bag): 40 cm. The entire set is housed in a rigid cardboard packaging marked with a colored label. The teaching aids are convenient to use, easy to store and fully magnetic. We recommend.
