This school wall map presents the main forms of nature protection in Poland against the backdrop of the ECONET network. The map marks national parks, landscape parks, wetlands habitats covered by the Ramsar Convention, and biosphere reserves inscribed on UNESCO's World Network of Biosphere Reserves. The ECONET-POLSKA network is part of the emerging Pan-European Ecological Network, which is intended to be a spatially and functionally coherent system of representative and best-preserved areas in Europe in terms of biodiversity and landscape diversity.
