Large Construction Set for Organic and Inorganic Chemistry

An educational kit for building chemical structures in organic and inorganic chemistry. It consists of balls with holes representing atoms and elements, and connectors representing bonds. The set includes 370 atom–element models and 150 connectors. The large number of elements enables constructing many chemical structures, including complex ones. All components are stored in a plastic, lockable box.

The set is designed for constructing simple organic compounds (with various functional groups) and inorganic compounds. Organic compounds are compounds containing carbon atoms (with exceptions such as CO, CO₂, CS₂); inorganic compounds are those not organic and not containing carbon atoms.

It enables the construction of, among others: C₂H₂ (acetylene), CH₃CH₂OH (ethanol), CH₃COOH (acetic acid), CH₃COOCH₃ (methyl acetate), CH₃CHO (acetone), CH₂OHCH₂OH (ethylene glycol), CH₂NH₂COOH (glycine), C₆H₁₂ (cyclohexane), H₂SO₄ (sulfuric acid), HClO₄ (perchloric acid), H₃PO₄ (phosphoric acid), H₂CO₃ (carbonic acid), HCl (hydrochloric acid).
