The magnetic didactic set for building and modeling atoms and molecules according to the Bohr model is an excellent educational tool for teachers. Step-by-step modeling of selected elements and molecules on a magnetic classroom board enables clear explanations of atomic structure and helps connect it with the periodic table, thanks to the included elements of this system. It allows modeling the atom according to the information read from the periodic table cell displayed on the board (choose H, O, Ar – hydrogen, oxygen, argon) with basic data on the group, period, atomic number, and mass number of the element (excluding its symbol and name).

Different colors of the atomic nuclei and frames for marking the valence electrons that bond elements, as well as indications of ionic charges when modeling ionic bonds, assist in the teaching process.

CONTENTS (all elements are 100 percent magnetic):

• 5 atomic nuclei with a diameter of 16,5 cm - 3 white; 1 green; 1 purple;
• 9 electron shells - 3 pieces of shells with diameters of 21, 25,5 and 30 cm (width of each shell: 4,5 cm);
• 29 proton models (red), diameter 23mm;
• 32 neutron models (yellow), diameter 23mm;
• 22 electron models (blue), diameter 23mm;
• 3 elements - periodic table cells (11x11 cm): H, O, Ar;
• exemplary element-cell of the periodic table with explanations (9,7x9,7 cm);
• 4 frames (6,5 x 9 cm) for demonstrating chemical bonds;

• a closed box.

All elements are 100 percent magnetic, printed on full magnetic foil (not glued onto fragments of magnetic foil or spot magnets), for presentation on any magnetic surface (metal, school board, ...). WE RECOMMEND!
