The kit enables you to build 8 models shown in the image. The different shapes of molecules are illustrated using the following examples: HCl, BeCl2, H2O, BH3, NH3, CH4, PCl5, SF6. The set also includes two additional components that enable the creation of models with proton bonding.
The kit contains enough pieces to assemble eight atomic models. The various structures illustrate bond orientations and coordination numbers from 1 to 6, including: linear hydrogen chloride HCl, linear beryllium chloride BeCl2, bent H2O, trigonal planar borane BH3, pyramidal ammonia NH3, tetrahedral methane CH4, trigonal bipyramidal phosphorus pentachloride PCl5, and octahedral sulfur hexafluoride SF6.
