Description
Air Track with Blower and Electronic Counter 200 cm
The air track is designed to study motion in physics experiments, including uniform motion, uniformly accelerated motion, Newton's laws, elastic and inelastic collisions. Investigating the motion of a body moving along any surface is influenced by the friction exerted by that surface, directed opposite to the motion. The air track aims to minimize these forces by creating an "air cushion" on which gliders glide without touching the track; in combination with photogates, it provides very precise measurement results.
