Model for Demonstration of Energy Transformation

Model for demonstrating one type of force — centrifugal force. The large size of the model (over 40 cm tall) and the dramatic nature of the demonstration help students remember the concept clearly. The model consists of a metal guide rail wound at the base into a large loop (the inner side of the guide). The experiment involves releasing a ball from the very top of the guide and observing its path — contrary to gravity, the ball does not fall after reaching the top of the loop, but goes around it and leaves the track, "holding on" to the path, which demonstrates the action of centrifugal force.
