Educational 88-piece puzzle illustrating selected forest mammals in their natural forest habitat. The image on the puzzle features representatives of various groups of forest mammals such as: bats (nocek and borowiec wielki), rodents (wiewiórka, smużka and orzesznica), insectivorous mammals (jeż), the hare family (zając szarak), carnivorous mammals (lis, borsuk i ryś), and even-toed ungulates (sarna, jeleń and żubr). The puzzle can be laid out on a rigid cardboard mat (the easier version) with a full-color print of the puzzle image at 1:1 scale, or on the bottom of the closed box, whose dimensions are matched to the puzzle (33 x 23 cm). To ensure the puzzle is not only entertaining but also educational, information about the animals depicted is printed on the underside of the mat, including among other things the animals' sizes, information about their lifestyle (for example whether they hibernate), and nomenclature. For example, it is useful to know how we call the female and male of roe deer and red deer, which although belonging to the deer family, represent two distinct species. And yes, the female roe deer is called a doe, and the male a buck (roebuck); for red deer they are respectively hind and stag. We recommend it for play and education!
