Description
NeuLog: Oxygen Sensor for Free and Dissolved Oxygen Measurement
- This sensor can be used to measure the level of free oxygen in the air or dissolved oxygen in water. The measurement of free oxygen is used during reactions that produce oxygen, e.g., the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. The measurement of dissolved oxygen can be used, for example, in photosynthesis studies.
- The sensor is designed for use in the laboratory as well as outdoors. It employs polarographic technology with replaceable membranes. The electrode itself, to ensure durability, is made from Delrin®.
- Using an integrated thermistor enables measurement with temperature compensation. The thermistor is housed in a stainless steel housing on the exterior side to ensure fast and accurate measurements.
