This lockable cabinet holds up to 500 microscope preparations and is secured with a key. It features 6 drawers, including five double drawers for 500 preparations and a lower wide single drawer for storing albums with preparations, preparation tools, labels, etc. Each of the five drawers for preparations is divided into two adjacent sections; each section contains 50 pairs of slide guides, so each of the five drawers holds 100 preparations, and the entire cabinet accommodates 500 microscope slides/preparations. The drawers provide space for labels. The cabinet is made of laminate (body and doors) and wood (all drawers).
