Thermal Energy - Working Demonstration Kit (J) for Educational Labs

An experimental set that allows students to generate electrical energy using only hot and cold water! The production of this clean form of energy is possible thanks to the water‑based Peltier thermoelectric cell included in the set, which generates electricity by using the temperature difference between the hot and cold water poured into the tanks. The amount — the power — of the generated energy can be observed using the fan (turbine) and buzzer included in the set, as well as the two thermometers.

An additional photovoltaic module allows comparison of two different methods of generating electrical energy during a single lesson. Students can test the operation of the solar cell by observing the fan, the buzzer and the illuminated LED.

The set includes:

• thermoelectric module with Peltier cell and two glass tanks for hot and cold water
• tank lid with openings for thermometers
• 2 mercury‑free laboratory thermometers, glass
• control module with motor, fan, buzzer, LED and connection sockets
• photovoltaic module with connection sockets
• connection wires
