Description

Renewable Energy from Water, Wind, and Sun - Modular Set III

A kit for a comprehensive presentation of how renewable energy works, consisting of three distinct demonstrational modules:

WATER:
A functioning model of a water turbine connected to a water source, with a transparent front panel allowing observation of its operation. The turbine is connected to a small generator producing electricity, the operation (flow) of which can be observed through, among other things, (included in the set!) a glowing bulb, an LED, a Newton's color wheel rotating on the shaft (and other circuit elements, including a 2-range switch). The water wheel visible through the panel is made of chromed brass, and the turbine housing from aluminum alloy.
Base dimensions: 32.5 x 22.5 cm
Height: 19 cm
Includes: 2 flexible lead wires.

WIND:
A model demonstrating the conversion of wind energy into electrical energy. On the base are two fans, a voltmeter, and an LED indicating voltage flow. The gray fan is started by electrical current that imitates wind. The gust of wind sets the blue fan in motion, generating current, enabling the LED to light. Using the built-in voltmeter, students can read the current's actual magnitude.

Base dimensions: 25 x 17.5 cm
Height: 10 cm
Power supply with adjustable voltage AC/DC (3-12V 1.2A 15W) – included.

SOLAR:
A simple kit demonstrating the conversion of solar energy into electrical energy. Included: a photovoltaic cell (the so-called solar cell), banana leads (black and red), and a motor-driven fan. The operation of electrical energy is illustrated by a fan with a motor (motion), a buzzer (sound), and an LED (light).
Model dimensions: 25 x 17.5 cm
