Alpha Set A Blocks: Programming without a screen (6+) - basic set
Product reference: TEC000063
Tax incl.: zł950.00
Description
Alpha Set A is a complete educational kit that introduces children aged 6 and above to robotics, construction and programming — all without using a computer.
The set combines building blocks, electronic modules and command cards, allowing children to learn coding in a hands-on, intuitive and engaging way.
Learners can build a wide variety of robot models and then program them by scanning command cards. Children arrange cards in logical sequences, and the OID module reads and sends the instructions to the robot. This approach helps them understand sequencing, logic and cause-and-effect relationships naturally — without the need for screens.
All construction elements are made of high-quality ABS plastic, comfortable to hold and easy to assemble. The electronic modules — including a high-torque motor, dot-matrix display, LED light, button module and buzzer — enable the robots to move, light up and produce sounds. This gives students the opportunity to create both simple mechanical builds and interactive robots that respond to programmed behaviours.
Curriculum – 16 lessons across four units
The learning programme follows a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach, guiding students from basic mechanical constructions to robots controlled with command cards.
It also aligns with STEM education, combining science, technology, engineering and mathematics through practical, creative tasks. Students not only build and program robots, but also develop analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and teamwork.
By progressing from simple mechanisms to more advanced programmed robots, learners clearly see how theory connects with real-world applications — making the learning process meaningful, engaging and highly effective for teachers aiming to build future-ready competencies.
