Human Anatomy Laboratory – comprehensive set of 21 detailed biological models

Human Anatomy Laboratory is a comprehensive set of 21 detailed biological models and teaching aids designed for learning about the structure and functioning of the human body. The set enables the presentation of the most important systems, organs and anatomical structures – from the skeleton and musculature, through the circulatory, nervous, digestive and urinary systems, to the sense organs, the structure of the skin, muscles and DNA.

The variety of teaching aids makes it possible to present human anatomy at different levels of detail. The set includes life-size models, enlarged models, anatomical cross-sections and relief models. Many of them feature removable or separable parts that allow observation of internal structures. The set is complemented by a large-format wall chart illustrating the human circulatory system.

The set includes:

  1. Human skeleton model, extended version Human skeleton model, extended version (BIO000892-BB) – a life-size model on a stand, designed for detailed presentation of the structure of the human skeletal system.
  2. Human heart model, 4-part, 2x enlarged Human heart model, 4-part, 2× enlarged (BIO000550-BB) – a separable model enabling presentation of the external and internal structure of the heart.
  3. Human torso model with head, 28-part Human torso model with head, 28-part, life-size, interchangeable sex organs, open back and neck (BIO000549-BB) – an advanced life-size model with numerous removable organs and interchangeable male and female parts.
  4. Human circulatory system – general relief model Human circulatory system – general relief model (BIO000415-BB) – a colourful, reduced-size relief model showing the course of the major blood vessels and their position in relation to selected organs and skeletal structures.
  5. Human nervous system – relief model Human nervous system – relief model (BIO000944) – a three-dimensional model enabling presentation of the major components of the nervous system and their distribution throughout the body.
  6. Human digestive system – basic set of models on a board Human digestive system – basic set of models on a board (BIO000414-BB) – a three-dimensional teaching aid presenting the structure and relative positions of the major organs of the digestive system.
  7. Artery, vein and capillary – 3 cross-sectional models Artery, vein and capillary – 3 cross-sectional models (BIO000901-BB) – a set of three models for comparing the structure of the basic types of blood vessels.
  8. Human eye model in orbit, 3x, 9-part Human eye model in orbit, 3×, 9-part (BIO000323-BB) – an enlarged, separable model allowing detailed presentation of the eyeball and surrounding structures.
  9. Educational human ear model, 4x, 4-part Educational human ear model, 4×, 4-part (BIO000553-BB) – a four-times enlarged model with a cross-section of the inner ear, removable auditory ossicles and labyrinth.
  10. Human stomach model, 2-part, basic Human stomach model, 2-part, basic (BIO000556-BB) – a separable model enabling observation of the external and internal structure of the stomach.
  11. Cross-sectional model of the human liver Cross-sectional model of the human liver (BIO000557) – a colourful model enabling presentation of the liver structure and its major anatomical features.
  12. Human kidney model with adrenal gland, 2-part Human kidney model with adrenal gland, 2-part (BIO000847-BB) – a separable model enabling observation of the external and internal structure of the kidney and adrenal gland.
  13. Male urinary system 3D model, 4-part Male urinary system 3D model, 4-part (BIO000729-BB) – a three-dimensional model showing the kidneys with adrenal glands, ureters, blood vessels, urinary bladder and prostate gland.
  14. Block model of healthy human skin and burns Block model of healthy human skin and burns (BIO000578-BB) – a three-dimensional model for comparing the structure of healthy skin with changes caused by burns.
  15. Human upper limb muscle model, 6-part Human upper limb muscle model, 6-part (BIO000900-BB) – a detailed model showing the muscles of the upper limb, with components allowing closer examination of their position.
  16. General human musculature model, 1/4 life-size General human musculature model, 1/4 life-size (BIO000559-BB) – a three-dimensional full-body model showing the distribution of the major muscles of the human body.
  17. Human femur structure model, 2-part Human femur structure model, 2-part (BIO000902-BB) – a separable model enabling presentation of the external and internal structure of a long bone.
  18. Human large intestine model Human large intestine model (BIO000922-BB) – a detailed model enabling presentation of the structure of the large intestine and selected structures visible in cross-section.
  19. Ultrastructural skeletal muscle model Ultrastructural skeletal muscle model (BIO000917-BB) – a three-dimensional model with transverse and longitudinal sections showing the detailed structure of a muscle fibre.
  20. Human brain model, 2-part, basic Human brain model, 2-part, basic (BIO000551-BB) – a separable model designed to present the external and internal structure of the human brain.
  21. DNA model with labelled bases DNA model with labelled bases (BIO000561) – a three-dimensional DNA double-helix model with labelled bases, designed for teaching the structure of genetic material.
  22. Wall chart: Human circulatory system, 90x130 cm, laminated, with rods Wall chart: Human circulatory system, 90 × 130 cm, laminated, with rods (PLA000610) – a large-format educational chart showing the human circulatory system and complementing the three-dimensional anatomical models.

This carefully selected equipment makes it possible to teach human anatomy from the level of the entire body down to the detailed structure of organs, tissues and anatomical structures. Students can analyse the position of organs, explore their internal structure, trace the course of major blood vessels and nerves, study the skeletal and muscular systems and discuss the structure of DNA.

The set is ideal as comprehensive equipment for a biology laboratory and for biology, anatomy and health education lessons. The variety of models makes it suitable both for whole-class demonstrations and for students working with selected teaching aids in smaller groups.
