SERIES Simple Machines: Wedge is one of 12 active experimental models in our SERIES SIMPLE MACHINES. Like all simple machines, it can be used to illustrate the gain in force, calculate it, and discover practical applications. Examples of wedges include axes, chisels, nails, pins, and even the teeth of a saw.

For this experimental model, an instruction with a theoretical discussion is included along with ready-made worksheets for teachers and students (separate!).
