LINEAR GEAR TRAIN from SERIES OF SIMPLE MACHINES

The Linear Gear Train is one of 12 operating experimental models in our SERIES OF SIMPLE MACHINES. Like all simple machines, it can be used to demonstrate the gain in force, calculate it, and find practical applications. Examples of wheel-and-axle systems include bicycle wheels, wind turbines, and steering wheels.

This experimental model comes with an instructional guide containing a theoretical discussion and ready-made worksheets for teachers and students (separate!):

All simple machines in this series are made from a friendly material - wood. Dimensions: 40x6x15 cm. Weight: 550 g.
