The kit is a continuation of the best-selling "SOIL" series devoted to the influence of environmental and anthropogenic factors on soil, water, and plant development. An experimental kit with essential laboratory equipment for experiments on environmental impact on soil and plant growth. It enables basic experiments to determine the effect of soil salinity on water uptake by plants, the impact of soil contamination on germination processes, to examine oil content and pH in soil, and to determine soil moisture.

All components are housed in a two-level plastic box with a lid and cutouts for the set components.

The set includes a fold-out model for demonstrations and experiments in filtration, purification and water treatment. It simulates natural water filtration processes that occur in nature, where water percolates through successive layers of soil with different composition and structure (hence sand and gravel are included in the set). It also allows presenting the processes and stages of water purification used by humans to drink water free from contaminants. In the containers one places: activated carbon in a screw-cap container (90 g), sand (3 x 65 g), gravel (3 x 65 g).

Additional elements include: a plastic measuring container with a capacity of 50 ml, filter paper (A4) and safety goggles. Dimensions of the model (filtration tower): 11 cm (base diameter) x 32 cm (height).
