A stereo microscope with LED illumination from both bottom and top (transmitted and reflected light), designed for viewing three-dimensional specimens, including non-transparent natural samples and beyond traditional microscope slides. Indispensable for studying rock fragments, minerals, soil samples, insects, plant specimens (whole or parts), metals, and hobbyist specimens (coins, stamps), etc. Unlike traditional microscopes, no special preparations are required. The stereoscopic effect for spatial specimens — e.g., an oval, rough rock surface — provides a clear view of both upper and lower parts, accessible to almost anyone thanks to focusing adjustment on one eyepiece (important for uneven vision defects of both eyes).

Magnifications: 20x and 40x, selectable by rotating the revolver turret (no need to manually swap objectives!).

Illumination by reflected and transmitted light — the specimen is lit from above and/or below — useful for specimens that are at least partly transparent (transmitting light) as well as dark and highly irregular ones.

The microscope enables wireless operation thanks to the included AA battery charger, and when powered by three AA NiMH 200 mA rechargeable batteries, the illuminator provides 35 hours of continuous operation.
