A unique digital stereo microscope with a built-in 4 MP USB 2.0 digital camera, which can be connected to a computer via USB port or wirelessly via WiFi. It enables individual observation of microscope slides and three-dimensional objects, as well as displaying the image on a computer screen or interactive monitor, saving it as a file and processing it digitally.
The microscope is compatible with currently used Windows systems, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, as well as Mac OS. The resolution of the built-in camera allows the microscope image to be displayed also on an interactive whiteboard.
The microscope is equipped with upper and lower LED illumination — transmitted and incident light — which can be used together or separately, with smooth adjustment of light intensity. Magnifications of 10x, 20x and 40x are changed by rotating the revolving objective head. The microscope is powered by built-in 1800 mAh rechargeable batteries. An ergonomic carrying handle makes this modern microscope easy to move and use in different classrooms or workstations.
It is designed for observing three-dimensional, including non-transparent, natural specimens, as well as many ready-made microscope slides, thanks to its special lower illumination system.
It is invaluable for studying, for example, fragments of rocks, minerals, soil samples, insects, plant specimens — whole or in parts — metals, hobby objects such as coins and stamps, as well as many microscope slides. Unlike traditional microscopes, specially prepared specimens are not always required. The stereoscopic effect, when observing three-dimensional objects such as a rounded, rough rock sample, provides a clear image of both upper and lower parts of the object. This effect is easily accessible thanks to focus correction on one of the eyepieces, which is especially important when the observer has different vision defects in both eyes.
Incident and transmitted illumination — lighting the object from above and/or from below — is useful for specimens that are at least partially transparent, as well as dark and highly irregular objects. The microscope enables cordless operation thanks to built-in rechargeable 1800 mAh batteries.
