An essential educational vacuum experiment set that demonstrates that sound waves do not propagate in a vacuum.

The kit includes a large, transparent bell jar inside which sits a bell (powered by 4-6 V AC/DC, flat battery or adapter included), placed on a rubberized base with an integrated manual pump that enables substantial thinning of gases inside the bell and reduces the bell's noise.

For better and faster vacuum effects, an electric pump with a vacuum gauge is included in the set, along with a digital sound level meter to easily monitor changes in noise intensity in dB(A).
