Large-format educational game: Be Eco - Good and Bad Habits - XXL version

A large-format board game supporting the development of ecological awareness among children and young people. In an accessible and engaging way, it introduces participants to the topic of everyday choices that affect the environment — at home, in the city, and during leisure time.

The large board format, approx. 1.55 × 2.25 m, allows the game to be played outdoors or in a gymnasium, engaging a larger group of participants at the same time. The movement-based form of gameplay supports active learning and increases children’s involvement.

The game consists of moving around the board using large wooden pawns, approx. 15 cm high, and rolling a foam dice, approx. 8 cm. During the game, participants analyze various everyday situations, learning to recognize which actions are beneficial for the environment and which have a negative impact on it. Special spaces marked with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down symbol make it easier to distinguish good and bad habits.

After landing on such a space, the player answers a question related to environmental protection. A correct answer gives the player the opportunity to make an extra move or avoid moving backward on the board. This mechanism supports active knowledge acquisition and encourages thinking and discussion. The instruction manual includes a set of ready-made questions and answers, which can be freely expanded and adapted to the group’s level.
