Eco‑Researcher Case – water and soil quality testing set allows conducting approx. 500 colorimetric tests that enable measuring the content of various chemical substances in water, such as nitrites, nitrates, phosphates, ammonia, and iron ions, assessing water hardness levels, and measuring acidity (pH) – also in collected soil samples. The three included educational boards complement the instructions by illustrating the impact of environmental pollution on vegetation and soil composition.

The set has been additionally expanded with a 4‑function electronic soil meter and a soil scoop, significantly increasing the possibilities for field activities. The meter, equipped with a 20 cm probe, enables direct measurement of soil moisture, soil pH, soil temperature, and light intensity. This allows students not only to analyze collected samples but also to perform measurements directly in the field and compare conditions in different locations. The included soil scoop makes it easier to collect material for further tests and experiments.

The set allows measurement of:

• pH in two ranges: 4.5–9.0 and 6.0–8.0 (2×100 measurements)
• general and carbonate hardness GH–KH (approx. 2×30 measurements)
• ammonia NH3 concentration in the range 0–10 mg/l (30 measurements)
• nitrite NO–2 concentration in the range 0–1.5 mg/l (50 measurements)
• nitrate NO–3 concentration in the range 0–150 mg/l (50 measurements)
• phosphate PO43– concentration in the range 0–5 mg/l (30 measurements)
• iron ion Fe2+ concentration in the range 0–1.5 mg/l (30 measurements)

Thanks to the Eco‑Researcher Case, students can conduct real field research – independently collect water and soil samples, perform measurements, gather data, compare results, and draw conclusions about environmental conditions.
