Educational wooden weather station, house-style

Wooden weather station designed for outdoor placement in an open area and intended for ongoing weather observations. Built in accordance with general guidelines for meteorological enclosures, including: made entirely from seasoned wood (and not plywood!), ensured free air access without the risk of instrument sun exposure, wooden louvers walls with front doors, painted entirely white (reflects solar radiation). The wooden weather station is hand-painted and was produced in Poland!

Includes instruments mounted inside: minimum-maximum thermometer, hygrometer and barometer. Separately included rain gauge driven into the soil. The weather station has two front opening doors (also louvers, like the other walls) secured with a hasp (padlock not included). External dimensions (+/- 10 mm): 880 (W) x 680 mm (D) x 760 (H).

The wooden weather station will enhance the school's meteorological garden and is recommended for observations of weather components in elementary school. It encourages field activities during which the teacher can engagingly conduct a lesson about the weather, using measuring instruments and reading meteorological data.

The wooden weather station is, in other words, Stevenson screen, designed primarily to protect measuring instruments from the effects of atmospheric phenomena (e.g., rain, snow, hail, sun), while at the same time enabling instruments to access proper air circulation.
