Soil colours - 5 samples of soils sunk into the material

Five natural dried soil samples (in vials) are sunk into a transparent plastic block. They allow you to see how different the colour of the soils (e.g. red soils) can be, from grey to rusty to cinnamon. They also explain why colour is one of the most important characteristics for classifying and assessing soils.

Block wrapped in a bubble pocket and placed in a lockable cardboard box. Teaching aid dimensions: 14 x 6.5 x 1.8 cm.
