It is worth to know and remember that insects are the most diverse group of organisms on Earth, making up about 80% of all known animal species. There are about million described species, and scientists estimate that there could be up to 10 million in total. Insects play critical roles in ecosystems: they pollinate around 75% of flowering plants, decompose organic matter, and serve as a primary food source for many animals. Their ecological impact and contribution to biodiversity make them essential for the health of the planet.
