A very interesting optical microscope for measuring objects (also non-transparent) or parts thereof (botanical, zoological, geomorphological, metallurgical and other specimens) up to 1 mm long / wide. To be used directly on the specimen. With magnification of 100X (WF10X-15.5mm wide-field, micrometric w/crosshair eyepiece * 10X achromatic objective) and a built-in precise X/Y scale allows to measure a specimen with an accuracy of 0.01 mm (range: 0.01 mm...1 mm)! The microscope is equipped with 0.3W LED incident penlight with batteries (not included) which in a movable arm with an adjustable tilt angle. Rack and pinion focusing mechanism. The base is cut in the middle to enable placing the microscope on high specimen. Working distance: 6 mm. Light, portable and precise - ideal as a multifunctional instrument for studying, testing and measuring specimen, as well as for surface analysis.
