The set enables the construction of simple (galvanic) cells, including a demonstration of the construction and operation of one of the oldest cells - a cell discovered by physicist Alessandro Volta, i.e. the conversion of chemical energy into electricity. It contains: 1) 9 cm high plastic vessel (bottom/ top diameter: 7 and 9 cm) with clamps (laboratory sockets) mounted on the edge of the vessel for banana plugs (not included - can be bought if not in the laboratory) and adjustable metal handles for electrode tiles; 2) ceramic vessel, porous, matched to a plastic vessel of the size. 8 (H) x 5 (diameter) cm; 3) electrode plate, 8 pieces: copper, zinc (2 pieces), aluminium, nickel, tin, graphite, steel. The set enables the demonstration and discussion of characteristics, including potentials, of various galvanic cells built using the elements of the set. Dimensions of vessels: a.c.; dimensions of electrodes (except for graphite): 1.9 x 10 cm.
