Electrostatic machine (in. Wimshurst machine)

Classical electrostatic machine that allows the generation of electric voltage and charges with different marks (positive and negative), which are collected separately in Leiden bottles (two characteristic containers). The machine enables safe conducting of electrostatic experiments. It has a crank-operated belt, adjustable spark length and two high-voltage glass capacitors (funnel bottles) half transparent and braided collecting electrodes. A solid plastic base on non-slip rubber feet ensures stability during experimental demonstrations. The construction of the machine has been further reinforced with metal parts of the axle supporting the disc with a diameter of approx. 30 cm.
