A set of 3 anatomical models on one base demonstrating the construction of 3 different sections of the human digestive system. These are: intestinal villi, stomach wall and small intestine. All three models are presented in sections and show both external and internal structure. A few villi show macro- and microanatomical structure in cross-section and longitudinal section. The stomach wall shows a complex structure due to the longitudinal cross-section and the lateral cut-out. The small intestine model shows the internal structure of the villi due to the longitudinal cross-section and the stepped lateral cut-out showing the layered structure of the villi, which increase the surface of the intestine and support the absorption (absorption) of nutrients.
The large size of the models allows for effective didactic discussion of the role of individual elements of the digestive tract. Dimensions: 56 x 23 x 24 cm. Weight: about 2.2 kg.
