Sun, Earth and Moon in motion - model IV (tellurium)

A teaching aid also called tellurium. Convenient and basic version of this model - it is battery-powered (2 x AA) and allows for the presentation of such difficult to understand by students at school phenomena as: spinning and circulation of the Earth, day and night, daily changes in lighting, seasons, eclipses, shadow length... The Sun is represented in the model by a yellow sphere from which light falls on the Earth represented by the globe of the globe slanted at the right angle to orbit. The Sun and the Earth are placed on a stable arm and on a separate arm there is a model of the Moon that can be placed around the Earth. The model is moved by means of a gear system and can be moved or adjusted manually, backlit by battery (switch) - so it can be moved freely and is made of plastic and metal. Based on the information (markings in English) about the seasons of the year in the northern and southern hemispheres and the markings of the 12 consecutive months; the same information in Polish can be found on the overlayed coloured disc. An additional element is a flat human figure made of plastic, which can be fixed perpendicularly on the globe with the help of e.g. plasticine in order to examine changes in the length of the shadow it casts along with changes in lighting. Total dimensions of the didactic aid: 31.5 x 21 x 40.5 cm.
