The formation of faults, chunks and tectonic trenches - folding model

Colour model - teaching aid - to present the process of formation of faults (normal, inverted and shifting of what) and how the tectonic chasm and tectonic ditch are formed. The model consists of 5 parts are spatial (can be viewed from 4 sides and from above) and are made of coloured plastic. They represent a 3-dimensional landscape with longitudinal rock layers visible in cross-section - on each model you can see from 4 to 5 rock layers clearly differentiated by colours. The upper surface of the models is a landscape view in green-yellow-blue (rivers and tributaries).

The largest model shows a landscape with faults (4 different layouts of rock layers) and a visible log and tectonic trench. The four remaining models form another landscape for self-demonstration of different types of faults, formation of the chunks and tectonic ditches. The dimensions of the whole teaching aid: 47 x 25.5 x 15 cm.
