14 blocks of different materials is an excellent teaching aid to present and discuss in lessons the differences and physico-chemical properties of solids, and to determine the density of different materials. The blocks have dimensions of approx: 50 x 40 x 30 mm (wood, paraffin wax, aluminium, steel, polystyrene), 20 x 20 x 100 mm (plexiglass, glass, slate, aluminium, softwood, marble), 50 x 50 x 20 mm (lead), 20 x 20 x 50 mm (brass) and 40 x 40 x 20 mm (steel). On the basis of this teaching aid it is also possible to discuss the pros and cons of using certain materials in everyday life as well as in industry, so it is useful both in general education (nature, physics, chemistry) and in teaching vocational subjects.
