A set that demonstrates the simple conversion of solar energy into electricity. In the set, the Newton's color wheel is driven by a photovoltaic cell (the so-called solar battery). In addition to solar energy, the set also features Newton's experience of quickly rotating a color dial so that the human eye sees a solid white dial.

It is enough to bring the photovoltaic cell as close as possible to the source of light (natural: sun rays; artificial: incandescent bulb) to set the Newton's disc in motion!
