The basic element of the set is a soil sampling probe - auger - in form of a metal cylinder 35 cm long and 16 mm inside diameter with a notch forming a 20 cm long groove. A convenient handle is inserted into the upper end of the device, which can be used as a piston after sampling (see photo). The instrument is made of stainless steel and is ended diagonally so that it can be easily driven into the soil.
