Wind energy – a mini demonstration model

A demonstration model of the operation of the electric current generated by a wind turbine. The experiment consists in setting the fan in motion with a gust of air (e.g. blowing into a propeller), which is to imitate the wind. A moving fan generates a current, which then powers a red diode, placed in an acrylic stand.

A simple and useful wind turbine model for the demonstration of renewable energy in the school laboratory.
