Dietary recommendations is a magnetic teaching aid (87 elements) for discussing healthy eating and related recommendations. Compared to the pyramid of healthy eating and physical activity, this set includes foods and dishes which are good for our health and fitness as well as those which are harmful to us. To make the activities more interesting, the kit has been enriched with familiar smiley face icons (emoticons) and arrows labeled "more", "less" and "replace". Thus, next to the element representing "dark wholemeal bread", we can place a label with an arrow pointing upwards and the word "more"; accordingly, next to the element representing "light processed bread", we can place a label with an arrow pointing downwards and the word "less". If these two types of bread are placed next to each other, between them we can add a label with two arrows (one pointing down and the other up) with the word "replace". (here: exchange light bread for dark bread).

The teaching aid is designed to help explain healthy eating recommendations, both in school lessons and as part of educational campaigns linked to the promotion of the principles of healthy eating and nutrition. Its design and composition encourages both individual statements and collective discussions on the topic of eating.

The kit contains 87 colourful elements, 100 percent magnetic, because they are printed on full magnetic foil (and not glued with fragments of magnetic foil), to present on any magnetic surface (metal, school board, ...) principles and recommendations concerning proper and healthy nutrition.

The elements of the set can be freely arranged on the magnetic school board. The whole set is clearly visible, the elements are large and clear. Dimensions of the largest elements (oval): 18.3 x 12.2 cm (2 pcs); 14.5 x 12.5 cm (32 pcs). Diameter of emoticons and arrows: 4.8 cm (there are 50 pieces).

    37 colour images of food (food) - different food groups; including.     10 smiley faces - green smiley faces;

    10 lilac labels with an upward arrow and the word "more";
    10 purple labels with an arrow pointing down and the word "less";
    10 labels with two arrows (one pointing down and one pointing up) and the word "replace".

All the items mentioned above are magnetic. The teaching aid is convenient to use, easy to store and supports the learning process. WE RECOMMEND.
