Durable floor mat measuring 3.5 m in length and 36 cm in width presents in a vivid and visual way how to eat healthily, what to eat to stay healthy, what to avoid and what to substitute with. The mat was developed based on the current version of the Healthy Diet and Physical Activity Pyramid for students, i.e., children and adolescents in school age, based on the recommendations of the Institute of Food and Nutrition in Warsaw published in 2016 and the latest WHO guidelines. It also contains recommendations related to physical activity. The mat features friendly, illustrated guidelines for healthy eating marked with icons familiar to children (emoticons) and the captions: REACH FOR (e.g., fruits and vegetables in natural form; plant oils instead of animal fats); AVOID (e.g., products with added sugars and colorings; white bread instead of dark; etc.). The mat is colorful and legible, covered with a special transparent floor laminate highly resistant to abrasion. This teaching aid can be mounted or laid on the floor or other flat surfaces. It can also be permanently fixed to the floor like a carpet, using double-sided carpet tape. The mat can also be stored rolled up.
