Description
MACHINE TRANSLATION (not authorised yet)
The air track is designed for testing uniform, steadily accelerated, Newton's Second Law, elastic and non-elastic collisions. The test of the movement of a body moving on any surface is endowed with the influence of this substrate in the form of friction force directed against the direction of movement. The use of the air track is aimed at minimizing these forces by creating an "air cushion" on which the sliders move without touching the track and in combination with the use of photo-frames, allow us to obtain very accurate measurement results.
